Every donation helps us move closer to our goal of building Queen’s Market Morecambe as a place for creativity, community and opportunity. Your contribution supports the restoration of the building with reclaimed materials and invests in projects that inspire pride, skills and self-belief.

Project BEE turns your time and skills into real investment in people’s futures. Like a hive, every small contribution adds up to something powerful.
When you give your time to Queen’s Market Morecambe, we count every minute as pollen. Sixty minutes of time becomes a credit, and each credit is valued at £1. Once someone earns 100 credits, our Hive Bank invests £1,000 into their dream, whether that’s training, starting a business, or developing a creative idea.
Alongside money, this project generates what we call the Honeycomb of Values: pride, self-belief, imagination, creativity, sustainability, life skills, security, ownership and dreams. These are the foundations of a stronger, more empowered community.
By supporting us this way, through your time, skills, or resources, you help us to build, enable and empower a hive where everyone can grow.

At the entrance to Queen’s Market Morecambe, visitors will be greeted by a stunning community artwork: a wall of 1,500 hand-painted ceramic tiles. Each tile represents a supporter’s contribution to the project and becomes a lasting part of the building’s story.
For a donation of £100, you’ll be invited to work with Potty Roos, our local pottery partner, to design and paint your own tile. Once it’s glazed and fired, your tile will take its place on the wall, creating a vibrant mosaic of colour, creativity, and community spirit.
This is more than decoration, it’s a landmark piece of collective art. Each supporter’s tile tells a story, and together, the 1,500 tiles will symbolise the many hands that helped build Queen’s Market Morecambe.

Each week the image with the most likes on Instagram, will be chosen and added to our hall of fame.
Once we reach 10,800 spots of happiness – one of the images in the Hall of Fame will be chosen at random to become a commissioned artwork on the Ceiling of Dreams, containing the individual spots. The owner of the chosen image will get to work with a Creative to transform their image into an amazing spot of art.
